Great Lakes Archaeological Research Center provides professional archaeological and historical services to assist federal, state, and local governmental agencies, private architecture and engineering fiirms, federally regulated energy companies, land developers, and private individuals in complying with state and federal legislation concerning historic preservation. Such federal laws include Sections 106 and 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act, the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act, the Archaeological Resources Protection Act, the American Indian Religious Freedom Act, the Antiquities Act of 1906, Executive Orders pertaining to historic preservation, Department of Defense Instructions 4710.1 and 4715.3, and Army Regulation 200-4.
